Ah photography I have MISSED YOU! It has been a long few months of maternity leave and I am preparing to head back into “work” full steam ahead. Can’t wait! My website is currently “under construction” so to speak - as I am updating some basic info, pricing and adding new photos and galleries. Lots of fun stuff. I will announce the completion soon, I hope.
In the mean time, those of you who have contacted me about booking sessions this fall I promise to get back to you ASAP - thanks for your understanding : ) … and because a post is rarely complete without a photo …

That’s right. I did *not* take this photo. My totally talented
and yummy husband did. I’m so impressed baby! : )
I had the honor of heading into The City this weekend to meet up with a friend and her little guy. Brayton and Luke were due date buddies, but Mister Brayton decided to beat Luke to the punch and head into this world two weeks before him : ) He is such a little fighter and oh-so-precious! I can’t wait to meet up with them again after his surgery to do some fun, family photos. Brayton, lots of prayers are with you sweetheart - and Aimee, thank you for letting me come and capture this part of your journey with him!

… I love this next one, baby B’s big sister did some artwork for his crib, so sweet …

… and last but not least, my FAVE shot of the day …

Our little monkey is a month old today, sniff sniff.
We just love him to pieces and are so blessed and thankful that he is apart of our family.

Today my baby is 1 month old! (a post on that to come later on today) However, I couldn’t pass up posting this one real quick. Talk about difficult trying to get such a squirmy little guy in this giant tea cup, but I did my best : )

If you know Justin, you know how mischievous he can be. He loves to tease, and tickle and joke around. There is this look he gets in his eyes that says “watch out” and I saw it in Luke just today. I was mid-photo taking when I saw that look and am so glad I captured it. I’m almost seeing the beginnings of a smirk here, and just can’t help but think oh boy, here we go again… I am completely outnumbered by Warren boys - who will throw dirty socks at me, grab me in a giant “tickle hug”, or give me “wet willies”. Can’t help but love them though, huh? : )
Ok I’m a tad excited right now. Justin and I have been more than thrilled with the Babywise series when we implemented it with Danny and now Luke… we’ve been lucky enough to have some great friends who have been so supportive and encouraging with all of our/my many questions (Shari, Jen, Jeni - yes I’m referring to you three :)). Anyhow, in my search today for some answers I came upon this blog ——> Chronicles of a Babywise Mom. I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface, but so far I have found it beyond helpful! There are literally hundreds of posts, questions, answers, tips, etc. I am definitely adding it to my list of faves… check it out!
Danny was thrilled to finally get his Cars quilt that Grandma Darlene made for him. He immediately wrapped himself in it and when we got home, it was quite fun to be able to put the finishing touches on his “big boy Cars room”.

And… just because I thought it was cute. Here, goes to show you how for under a dollar, you can make a little boy “so super happy” [in his words]. This is Danny posing with his new pal, Sponge Bob. Yes, it is a kitchen sponge, but you can’t fool him - this little pal has been hanging out with us the past few days… I often wonder why we spend so much $ on toys when they get such enjoyment out of simple things… : )

Gah, how I love these toes! The following photos didn’t turn out *quite* like I had in mind, but trying to get 3 yr old toes, and new baby toes in order… just doesn’t always work so well : )

We were lucky, no, blessed - to have Nana and Auntie Sadie in town for 10 days. Helpful doesn’t even begin to describe them. Danny loved having so much attention, and of course I loved the many breaks I got! We dealt with daddy being sick, breastfeeding/formula/weaning issues, BART train excursions, Dr appts, and mother-daughter-sister spats : ) just to name a few. It was a sad, sad Wednesday when we said goodbye - but are so glad they got to come during this precious time in our lives. Thank you Nana & Auntie, we miss you!
